Covid-19 Safety Protocols

Protecting the health and safety of our artists, staff and patrons is Magic's number one priority. Although 100% safety can never be guaranteed in these strange times, Magic adheres to all guidelines and recommendations issued by Fort Mason Center for Arts and Culture, the City & County of San Francisco,  the State of California and the CDC in regard to reopening our facilities to audiences and ongoing operations.

These include:

-Remote ticketing options and touchless ticket scanning.

-Clear, unobstructed pathways for patrons’ ingress and egress.

-Reduced venue capacity for certain productions in order to maintain distancing between parties.

-Hand sanitizer stations throughout the venue.

-Concessions are currently unavailable until such time as risk of exposure is decreased.

-Digital Programs will be available.

-All Front of House staff, including House Managers, Box Office and Ushers, will undergo the same training as the rest of the Magic staff regarding safety and sanitization protocols. This will include face-coverings - masks, and social distancing.  Magic will provide sanitization techniques and equipment for cleaning.

-Magic is a fully vaccinated company. Proof of fully vaccinated status (including a booster shot) will be required for any audience member entering the space.

-Magic will require all patrons to wear face coverings/ masks when in the building and attending a show.

Theatre Cleaning Procedures
-
Prior to each performance all hard surfaces in the theatre (including but not limited to: arm rests, handrails, door handles, tables, chairs & counter tops) will be wiped down with an approved disinfecting agent.

-The entire theatre facility will be spray disinfected/ fogged to address soft surfaces weekly.

-Magic Theatre is surrounded by windows on three sides. During performances, these windows will remain open.

-Magic has also installed air-purifiers throughout the performance and common areas.
